I think it's time for a little post documenting what this little man can do...
Day 1 - Able to hold his head up for a bit and support his weight on his legs for a bit (amazing)
Week 2 - Started saying "Ah-goo/Agha" and hasn't really stopped (very chatty baby)
Week 8 - Started sleeping through the night! 10:30-7:30 (two growth spurts so far)
2 Days short of 4 months - rolled over back to stomach! (the harder way)
1 Day short of 4 months - rolled over stomach to back (only once so far)
He's working on sitting and can now easily hold his head up (except when coming out of nursing when he seems kind of drunk - very funny!). Of course, there are a lot of other things that have happened in the 4 months... grabbing toys, reaching for things not near him, finding his fingers! and then his feet!, communicating with squawks and grunts instead of just cries, etc. etc.
It's simply amazing how each of these is such work! Watching him work SO hard on sitting makes you realize how much each of us has accomplished. He hasn't stopped working on rolling over yet. Babies are hard little workers!
Poor little guy has a bit of a cold. Just a tad bit of a runny nose, but he's in pretty good shape and happy otherwise. He's coming out of the 4 month growth spurt (yay for more sleep for all of us!), and it's amazing how it correlated with physical accomplishments. Reading and expecting the accomplishments is one thing, but truly seeing it is another. Crazy!
