The Graduate
This weekend we were in the Silicon Valley/Bay Area for my sister's graduation. My mom and dad flew out, as did my sister's high school friend Jen. We only had one scare... Nagh didn't get tickets until the day before the graduation, and for a good 12 hours (overnight), we thought they were sold out! In fact, Jen and my Dad flew out thinking they were not going to see a graduation. My mom was seriously disappointed, but fortunately, it was just a rumor. Phew!
We went to the graduation in San Jose on Friday, and then headed to San Francisco where we had rented a house where we could all stay - including my sister's dog Cody. It was a great weekend. My sisters' roommate Christa also came. The only SF thing we did was go to Ghirardelli Square for some celebratory ice cream sundaes.
All in all, it was a great weekend. Sadly, we missed out on seeing a lot of friends. Our time just got messed up, as Rob and I were supposed to be in San Fran for the week, but then he got called back up to Calgary for work. As such, I stayed in Sunnyvale with my mom and sisters, so my schedule didn't really work out. I did get to see Seema for a quick visit, although it required a lot of flexibility on her part (thank you!). We hope to get in some more friend visits (and introductions to Kian!) next time.
Here are pictures from the weekend.
